Description: Rafael

Rafael is a dirty young man with long hair and a beard. He is very thin and tall. He isn´t dangerous. He went mad about a year ago. Nobody can help him. He has big, empty, mad eyes. He has a gold ring round his neck.
His father died when he was a child.
His clothes are very old and dirty. He looks ill.
His mother sometimes takes him some food.
He lives in an old wooden boat-house. It has not got doors The roof is broken at one end, and open to the sky. Inside there is an old wooden fishing boat.

Anita's description

She was the most beautiful girl on the village. She was cleverer too. She could read and tell stories to all the people.

All the men in village were in love with her. They wanted to marry her.

Her father, Rodrigo, wanted the best for her. He wanted that Anita married a businessman from town, that could give her all that she needed and wanted.

So, she would never marry her true love, Rafael.

They were in love, but, she knew that her father will never let her marry Rafael.

Every nights, she escaped from her home and went to meet Rafael.

The only person that knew that Anita went to meet Rafael, was her sister, Marta.

She knew a lot of things from Anita, that nobody knew.

She was the last person that saw Anita.

Mad Rafael was a man, whose father died when he was only a child. After that he wants the revenge of his father’s death went to kill a lot of sharks in the ocean. When he was older he fell in love with Anita, (a girl in the village), but when she disappears he went crazy. When he was mad, he was very thin and tall. He had long hair, untidy and dirty. His eyes where empty. He ever had a ring in his neck with a fish form and he ever repite the same words.

Description of Rafael

Rafael was a poor dirty man. He had long hair and a beard. His eyes were open, but empty. Rafael live in a house-boat. His father died when he was young, a shark attacked him and bit one of his legs. Rafael loved Annita(she was beautiful, everyone love her), she ran out with a soldier. Rafael became mad when Annita ran out.

Hi ! My name is Santiago...and I`m going to talk about Caballito, Caballito is the neighbourhood where I live and I live. I go to the Ferrocarril Oeste Club to play tennis and sometimes I go to play football...Caballito is an very important neighbourhood in Buenos Aires because it is very big and there are very good things, I like caballito because i have a lot of friends and my old school is there. opposite of my house there is the Ireland Square where I sometimes go to ride my bike or do something with my friends.

OUR CITY

First of all I think that our city, Buenos Aires, is beautiful and fantastic because there are a lot of places to visit for example: the museums, the churches, the Obelisc, the Congress, the Pink House, shopping centres and more things to do but our city has many problems, because it is very dirty.

Secondly I think that many people throw rubbish everywhere so, we should put more bins in the streets and avenues.

Also I think that the factories should not throw their waste into the rivers and seas so, the factories should move far away because the fumes that they throw are very dangerous for our health.

Finally I think that we should not cut down the trees, because they purify the air.

My Invention (by Bruno)

I'm going talk about the invention of the first airplane. The Wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur, were two Americans who are generally credited with inventing and building the world's first successful airplane and making the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight on 17 December 1903. In the two years afterward, the brothers developed their flying machine into the first practical fixed-wing aircraft. Although not the first to build and fly experimental aircraft, the Wright brothers were the first to invent aircraft controls that made fixed wing flight possible.
I think this was a great invention because after this, it could be invented modern airplanes.

MY NEIGHBOURHOOD(BY MARCOS)

I LIVE IN PALERMO.THERE IS A LOT OF TRAFFIC IN PALERMO AND THERE ARE A LOT CLUBS TOO...IN THE CLUBS WE DO SPORTS AND OTHER THINGS.MY STREET IS SAFE, THERE ARE 2 POLICEMEN ALL THE DAY LONG. I think Buenos Aires is a beautiful place to live and there are a lot of things to and a lot of interesting things. For example Caminito St, museums, football stadiums, the Obelisc,The Pink House and the Congress. But there are two things that I hate: the insecurity and the litter on the streets. But we can change Buenos Aires; for example we can put more rubbish bins, we can stop to throw litter on the streets, we can put more police In the dark streets or areas.

Our city is a fantastic place; it has a lot of things to see: Museums, Churches, Parks, Shopping malls, etc.
But we can do it a better place. Because our city has many environmental problems.
So; we can do the next things to make it better:
-Instead of using cars to go to places that aren’t far from where we are, we could use bicycles or just walk.
-Don’t throw litter to the floor; throw it in the bins.
-The companies shouldn’t throw their waste to the air or rivers.
-We shouldn’t waste the water, because it’s an important element for our life.
-We can help the environment helping people or companies who are doing excellent
Things for it, such as: Greenpeace; exc.
-We shouldn’t cut down the trees, because they purify the air.

These are only 6 things that we know we can do for our world.

Changes have to start from OURSELVES.

The Microwave

One day I was thinking about making a machine that could warm meals. So I invented the microwave. With this machine, I could warm my coffe when it was cold and it was very useful.

Gloves

I am going to write about the invention called gloves. The man who invented them was Thomas Florindi.
Florindi got the idea in 1928, in winter when his hands were very cold and he didn`t know how to warm his hands. He went to his house and he made the first pair of gloves. In 1929 he started to sell his invention in a shop. In 1935 he started a factory to produce gloves.
I think gloves are very useful to warm my hands in winter.

Our city (English homework)

OUR CITY

First of all, the factories might move far away from the cities because the fumes are very dangerous for our health.

Secondly, people drop a lot of litter. We should pick it up and tell them not to do that.

Also, we believe we should build more power stations because there are many power cuts in on summer.

We mustn’t cut down trees because we need more green places.

Finally, we should recycle our bottles and rubbish to clean our city.

Firs of all, I think that our city is very old, it has a lot of places to visit, for example: the Obelisk, theaters, The Pink House, The Congress, San Telmo, etc.. But the people throw liter in the streets and it is very dirty. In my opinion we needs more rubbish bins in Avenues and streets.

a better city

First of all, we think that in the street there is a lot of litter, so we propose to put more bins on the streets. Also, we think many people waste a lot of electric energy, gas and water, this can change if only use the necesary times the things, like if you leave your house, you should turn off the lights. In addition, we need to recycle more rubbish. To sum up, we should take more care of the enviorment.

I invented the computer in the year 1925. I got the idea when i was in my house very bored and i have the idea. When i finished the inventions my family say that it was a very good invention. They took the inventions to Garbarino and the payd me to buy the inventions and they did a lot of computers. My friends say that i am a genius because they said that they can chat and play. But one of my friends "Himel" say that i am a stupid because he said that he is always in the computer and he doesnt can study.

I`m going yo tell you about my invention. I have invented the DVD. When I invented it I thought the people would have an instrument that could reproduce music and films. The DVD is very useful and it is better than the VHS. You connect it in the TV and you can see films on TV. To sum up, I invented one of the greatest creations of the century.
